The Morning Clouds

Posted by Al Hathaway Friday, February 11, 2011

"I have swept away your offenses like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist. return to me, for I have redeemed you." Isaiah 44:22

As clouds are of many shapes and colors, so are our transgressions. As clouds obscure the light of the sun, and darken the landscape beneath, so do our sins hide the light of God's face from us and cause us to sit in the shadow of death.

It is good to know that when we return to God, His spirit grants us mercy and His desire is to redeem us from our sins. He will throw your sins into the sea of forgetfulness. "Though your sins be as scarlet, they will be white as snow."

It is good to know that you can return and receive pardon. The Father is always waiting for you to come home and the welcome home sign is available to you right now!
