Mr. Allan Tibbels

I am sadden to learn of the passing of Mr. Allan Tibbels. Allan ventured into Sandtown Winchester over 20 years ago with a vision to life the spirits and improve the quality of life of its residents. He believed in the children and families of that community long before it was popular. His motorized wheel chair could be seen travelling through the side streets, alleys and main streets promoting a lift yourself up spirit that was infectious. I am happy that our paths crossed and I had the opportunity to work with him. My work with The Singing Sensations reminds me of his work with The Voices of Sandtown, a children's choir with a powerful message and sound. His zest for living and the belief that everyone can overcome life challenges is something I will always remember. Allan Tibbels was an outstanding human being!
