Don't Sleep at the Wheel

"Let us not be like others, who are asleep." I Thessalonians 5:6

It is dangerous to drive while you are asleep at the wheel. Being tired or dozy is no time to attempt to drive.

When you are driving you need to be fully alert and aware of what's going on around you.

Too many people in life are attempting to lead and live while they are asleep. The political discourse in America illustrates the danger of listening to people seeking elections who are obviously asleep at the wheel.  It continues to amaze me how people who speak about trivial things want us to elect them to major positions. They are asleep at the wheel and must think we are to.

When you see people making obvious bad choices in life, you can only conclude they are asleep at the wheel of navigating their own lives. You cannot make a success out of sin. To attempt to do so demonstrate you are asleep at the wheel of life's vehicle.

To avoid being asleep at the wheel I suggest you take a regular dose of God's word to keep you awake in life.
