We Need Order

Posted by Unknown Friday, July 22, 2011

"They do not jostle each other; each marches straight ahead."

Joel 2: 8 (NIV)

Locust always keeps their rank, and although their number is legion, they do not crowd upon each other, to throw their columns into confusion.

The spirit of order is infused into the universe by God. Why does humankind have such a problem with the order and lean towards disorder? In my local community, it is surprising and astonishing how quickly my colleagues are willing to speak publicly about matters that we should deal with internally. In families, their issues and concerns so quickly become fodder for the rumor mill and active on the grapevine. We tend to disorder, when in God's universe, he seeks an order.

I'm reminded of the Song That Says, "Order my steps in Your Word Dear Lord."

That's my prayer for each of you today!
