The Benefits of Walking

Posted by Unknown Monday, May 23, 2011

"Continue to [walk] in him." Colossians 2:6

Walking implies action. Our religion is not to be confined to our closet; we must carry it out into a practical world to demonstrate what we believe. If we walk in Christ, then we act as Christ would act; for Christ being in us, our hope, our love, our joy, our life, we are the reflex of the image of Jesus.

Walking signifies progress. Each step takes you closer to your goal - an ultimate relationship with Him.

Walking implies continuance. We must perpetually abide in Him.

Walking communicates your habits.

Don't become lazy in your faith journey.

Take a walk each day. It will strengthen your character.
